Training Attendance and Cancellation Policy

 

Policy Acknowledgment

By enrolling in any training services provided by CrowdStrike, customers acknowledge and agree to abide by this Training Cancellation Policy.

Attendance Policy

The purpose of this policy is to define the attendance and other specific requirements to receive credit hours and a certificate of completion for a CrowdStrike training course.

Online Self-Paced Training

To receive credit hours and a certificate of completion for an online course or module within CrowdStrike University, you must complete all requirements of that course or module.  This includes any pre/post assessment, exams, quizzes or labs, should they exist. If you are unable to complete a course or module initially, you will be allowed to re-enter that course or module. You can also retake any online self-paced course, as long as you have access to CSU.

Onsite or Virtual Classroom Instructor-Led Training

In an effort to provide the best learning environment for everyone in attendance, CrowdStrike asks that students arrive AT LEAST 5 minutes prior to the official start time of the course.   

To receive credit hours and a certificate of completion for an onsite or virtual, instructor-led course, you must complete the majority of the course. This includes any pre-assessment/post assessment, exams, quizzes or labs, should they exist.

Students who attend at least 50% of the course will be listed as having attended but they will be listed as 50% complete and will NOT be able to download a certificate of achievement.  Credits will still be deducted for their seat in the course. Students who attend less than 50% of the course will NOT be marked as having attended and will be listed as having completed 0% of the course.  They will not be able to download a certificate of achievement. Credits will still be deducted for their seat in the course. 

On-Demand Instructor-Led Training

To receive a certificate of achievement for an On-Demand course, you must complete all the requirements of that course or 100% of course modules that are marked “required”. This includes any required pre/post assessment, exams, quizzes or labs, should they exist. Any course modules marked “optional” can be completed at the learner's discretion and will NOT prevent the learner from earning a certificate of achievement.

Students who only complete some required modules will be marked as completing a percentage of the total required course modules and will NOT be able to download a certificate of achievement.  Credits will still be deducted for their seat in the course.

Students who do NOT complete any required modules will be marked as completing 0% of the total course and will NOT be able to download a certificate of achievement. Credits will still be deducted for their seat in the course.

Course Certificate of Completion

You can access your CrowdStrike University course Certificate of Completion from the CrowdStrike University portal My transcript page, and select to download your certificate.

Cancellation Policy

The CrowdStrike University Training Cancellation Policy applies to training services provided by CrowdStrike, including live instructor-led training conducted via virtual conferencing, onsite training at customer locations, instructor-led training delivered on-demand,  or at regional classroom locations.

Instructor-Led Training

All seats in CrowdStrike instructor-led training are paid, and this cancellation policy applies to any participant who attends.

To register for an instructor-led class, a learner must have access to CrowdStrike University and must be able to purchase training with the needed number of Training Credits for the course. The course must begin on or before the credit expiration date.

NOTE: CrowdStrike employees are required to adjust their work schedules to attend the entire course and are expected to actively participate. Misuse of this policy may result in notification to their designated training contact.

How to Cancel

If you find that you cannot attend a live online or class instructor-led training course, you must contact CrowdStrike Training in writing at training@crowdstrike.com.

Cancellation requests must include the customer's name, contact information, training session details, and reason for cancellation.

Canceling Live Online or Classroom Instructor-Led Training

To cancel registration for an upcoming training session, customers must send a written notice of cancellation to training@crowdstrike.com at least more than one (1) full business day before the scheduled training start date to qualify for a full refund of training credits.

Cancellations made less than one (1) full business day before the scheduled training date will NOT be eligible for a refund of Training Credits.

Substitution

If you are unable to attend a course and it is more than one 1 business day before the course start date, you have the option to send a replacement attendee from the same organization. To do so, please provide written notice to training@crowdstrike.com.

NOTE: Any replacement attendee MUST be from the same organization to utilize your training credits.

Failure to send a replacement attendee or to cancel within the required timeframe will result in the automatic deduction of training credits for the course.

Canceling Private Instructor-Led Training

Virtual or Onsite

For organizations canceling a private or onsite instructor-led training session for all learners, notification must be sent to training@crowdstrike.com at least five (5) US business days prior to the scheduled course start date. Cancellations made less than 5 business days before the scheduled training date will NOT be eligible for a refund of Training Credits.

Individual learners seeking to cancel their seat in a private class should reach out to the representative from their company who arranged the training.

Onsite Travel Expenses

In the case of onsite private instructor-led training sessions, your organization may still incur travel charges if travel arrangements have already been made. Travel charges will be deducted from the available training credit balance per the pre negotiated training credit amount mutually agreed upon for Travel based on the location of the customer training site.

Rescheduling a Private Course

Customers have the option to request a rescheduling of their private or onsite training session for a future date, contingent upon the availability of training instructors and approval from CrowdStrike. Requests for rescheduling must be formally submitted in writing to training@crowdstrike.com at least five (5) US business days prior to the originally scheduled training course commencement.

On-Demand Instructor-Led Training

CrowdStrike University's On-Demand Instructor-Led Training courses offer learners unparalleled flexibility, allowing them to access and complete courses at their own pace, anytime and anywhere. Registration and commencement of the class provide access to CrowdStrike University instructor-led videos, online courseware materials, an extended-time Falcon lab environment, and lab exercises designed specifically for remote learners.

No Cancellation for On-Demand instructor-led Training

Once an On-Demand instructor-led training course has been started by registering for the class; the training course cannot be canceled.  

On-Demand courses require typically 7-8 hours of time to complete the course modules, and the learner is provided sufficient opportunity to complete the course over 30 days.

Exceptions

In exceptional circumstances, such as medical emergencies or extenuating circumstances, CrowdStrike may consider training credit refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Send a written request for an exception to training@crowdstrike.com.

Cancellation by CrowdStrike

CrowdStrike reserves the right to cancel or reschedule training sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to instructor unavailability, technical issues, or insufficient enrollment.

In the event of cancellation by CrowdStrike, customers will be offered the option to reschedule to a future training session or receive a full refund of any fees paid.

Policy Updates

CrowdStrike reserves the right to update or modify this Training Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice.
