About CrowdStrike University
CrowdStrike University is CrowdStrike's online training portal. CrowdStrike University is a Learning Management System (LMS) where all training activity records are tracked. This site offers professional training and education aimed at enhancing and expanding cybersecurity knowledge and abilities, from introductory to advanced capabilities.
CrowdStrike University provides users access to:
- Self-paced training (eLearning courses) focused on helping you implement and administer CrowdStrike Falcon®.
- “What’s New in Falcon” video series, formerly called PUVs, to ensure you understand recent feature updates and how they impact the way you work with Falcon.
- Quick Technical Tips
- The global training calendar “Live Sessions” which displays the dates and times for instructor-led classes.
- Certification prep resources including free practice exams, exam guides, and webinars.
- Links to CrowdStrike certification’s delivery provider Pearson VUE where candidates can register for exams
- Transcripts of training records and certification exam records, including access to score reports from CrowdStrike exams taken at Pearson VUE.
- Digital certificates and badges to represent learning achievements

Subscriptions
Customers should contact their CrowdStrike Account Manager to purchase a subscription or to activate your access to CrowdStrike University.
NOTE: Your organization may be eligible for free training subscriptions: CrowdStrike University Access Passes.
Partners should contact their CrowdStrike Alliance Manager or email alliances_operations@crowdstrike.com to activate a subscription.
Benefits offered with a CrowdStrike University subscription include:

Partners have a unique library of courses available to them and should contact their CrowdStrike Alliance Manager or email alliances_operations@crowdstrike.com to activate a subscription.
Customers should contact their CrowdStrike Account Manager. There must be an available active CrowdStrike University subscription in an account to activate an additional user.

Account Management
- 1. Sign in to CrowdStrike University.
- 2. Click the profile icon in the upper right corner.
- 3. Select My Profile & Settings from the drop down menu.
From the profile view you can:
- Change your password
- Update your time zone
- 1. Sign in to CrowdStrike University.
- 2. Click the profile icon in the upper right corner.
- 3. Select My Profile & Settings from the drop down menu.
- 4. Click Change password.
- 5. Enter your current password and new password.
- 6. Click Save.
Updating your time zone is VERY important! All training sessions will be displayed in the time zone you have set. If you have NOT updated the time zone in your profile, you will NOT see a localized version of the class session time.
- 1. Sign in to CrowdStrike University.
- 2. Click the profile icon in the upper right corner.
- 3. Select My Profile & Settings from the drop down menu.
- 4. Click the edit icon in the right corner of the Time Zone frame.
- 5. Select your time zone from the drop down.
- 6. Click Save.
To reset your password:
- 1. Go to CrowdStrike University.
- 2. Click the I've forgotten my username/password link.
- 3. Enter your username, which is your email address associated with your CrowdStrike University account.
- 4. Click Continue.
You will receive an email to reset your password.
- 1. Sign in to CrowdStrike University.
- 2. Select Achievements from the top menu.
- 3. For any courses you have completed that provide a certificate, click the Download certificate link.
NOTE: Not all courses have a certificate of completion.
Training Credits
Training credits are used to pay for instructor-led classes. The training credit cost varies per instructor-led course; required training credits per course are detailed in the training catalog. Contact your CrowdStrike account representative or partner to obtain a quote.
Training credits are owned by an organization and not the individual. They generally expire after a year, unless specified differently in your contract.
Instructor-Led Courses
To register for an instructor-led session:
- 1. Sign in to CrowdStrike University.
- 2. Click Live Sessions from the main navigation.
- 3. Locate your desired course and session time. (Make sure you select the session with the correct course, date, location, hours, and time zone. You can use the filtering option to narrow down the sessions displayed.)
- 4. Click Request Approval.
Please note, all registration requests are reviewed by our registration team. Once confirmed, training credits will be deducted from your account and you'll receive a confirmation email. This process can take 1-3 days.
You may need to adjust your settings to make sure the training schedule is displaying your preferred time zone.

- 2. Click the profile icon in the upper right corner.
- 3. Select My Profile & Settings from the drop down menu.
- 4. Click the edit icon in the right corner of the Time Zone frame.
- 5. Select your time zone from the drop down.
- 6. Click Save.

We offer instructor-led classes in a number of formats, including:
- Regional classroom instructor-led training with cloud-based interactive labs
- Live online instructor-led* using Zoom with cloud-based interactive labs
- Live online instructor-led* (private)** using Zoom with cloud-based interactive labs
- Onsite instructor-led (private)** delivered at organization’s site with cloud-based interactive labs
*Students participating in live online instructor-led training are encouraged to have 2 monitors and a headset for class, in addition to a reliable Internet connection.
**Private training can be scheduled by contacting training@crowdstrike.com.
We use Zoom for our live, online instructor-led training. To test that your system works with Zoom, please visit: https://zoom.us/test.
We use CloudShare for our cloud-based interactive labs. To test that your system works with CloudShare, please visit: https://use.cloudshare.com/Ent/Machine.mvc/testpage#/.
We offer materials for your reference that are available both during and after you have completed the course. The email you receive upon course completion will contain specific information on how to access these materials.
Generally, these materials exist in the “m” version of the course. Just add an “m” to the end of the course number. For example, if you completed “FALCON 201” you can search for “FALCON 201m” in the Content Library section of CrowdStrike University.
You will be notified that your course registration cannot be completed at this time.
Each instructor-led course has specified training credit cost which is noted in the course description. Contact your CrowdStrike Account Manager to purchase additional training credits.
Once you have purchased additional training credits, request access to the course again.
On-Demand Courses
To find an On-Demand course:
- 1. Sign in to CrowdStrike University and select the Content Library tab from the menu bar.
- 2. From the left-side Filter pane, select Topics > Course Delivery > On-Demand Instructor-Led Training.
- 3. Click on the name of the desired course to be taken to the course overview page.
- 4. To request enrollment, scroll down to review the course description and click the Start this course button.
- 5. The “Prerequisites/Approvals for this course” window appears, Click the Request Approval button and begin the course.
Please note, all registration requests are reviewed by our registration team. Once confirmed, training credits will be deducted from your account and you'll receive a confirmation email. This process can take 1-3 days.
Learners should begin on-demand instructor-led training at least 30 days before the expiration date of the training credits, as the course duration is 30 days. For example, if a learner’s training credits expire on April 30, the learner should Request Approval by April 1 at the latest.
Training credits applied to on-demand instructor-led courses cannot expire during the 30-day on-demand class period.
CrowdStrike Certifications
CrowdStrike certification exams validate proficiency in defined job roles and specialized skill areas that align to use of the Falcon platform.
- CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Administrator (CCFA): performs tasks related to management of the Falcon platform, including user management, sensor deployment, and policy configuration.
- CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Responder (CCFR): responds to cybersecurity alerts detected in the Falcon platform, including initial triage, basic detention, and escalation.
- CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Hunter (CCFH): performs deep detection analysis and response to incidents and events
- CrowdStrike Certified Identity Specialist (CCIS): specializes in analyzing and responding to identity-based threats and has strong experience using the features and tools available within the Falcon platform to investigate and respond to incidents.
- CrowdStrike Certified Cloud Specialist (CCCS): specializes in managing the various components of an organization’s cloud environment and has strong experience using CrowdStrike’s cloud security posture management (CSPM) module to identify and address security risks and vulnerabilities.

You may take your exam at a Pearson VUE test center or exam online using Pearson VUE OnVUE. Learn more about OnVUE.
Yes, CrowdStrike certifications can be taken online using the Pearson VUE OnVUE system. Learn more about OnVUE.
We strongly recommend candidates complete a system check prior to the day of their exam to ensure their computer meets all requirements to connect via OnVue. Many employer-supplied laptops include security features or firewalls that may not work with OnVue.
If you are taking an online exam using Pearson VUE OnVUE, you will receive a score report upon completion of your exam. If you are taking an exam at a Pearson VUE Testing Center, you may pick up your score report from the test center proctor after you complete your exam. You will be able to download your score report from the Pearson VUE website.
Successful exam results will also be uploaded to CrowdStrike University within 1-2 business days if you provided your CrowdStrike University ID and username during account creation at Pearson VUE.
Preparing for your Certification Exam
To take a CrowdStrike certification exam, you MUST accept the CrowdStrike Certification agreement in the exam registration process.
While there are no training prerequisites that have to be completed before an exam attempt, CrowdStrike strongly recommends that certification candidates take recommended training and review recommended reading as outlined in the CrowdStrike certification exam guides. CrowdStrike also strongly recommends a candidate have at least 6 months of experience with CrowdStrike Falcon®.

Exam Registration & Voucher Usage
- If you are a CrowdStrike University subscriber, before you schedule your exam at Pearson VUE, sign into CrowdStrike University.
- Click on your initials at the top right hand corner and select My Profile & Settings.
- Gather your CrowdStrike University ID number and CrowdStrike University username–which is usually your company email address.
- Go to https://home.pearsonvue.com/crowdstrike.
- Click the Create Account button and complete the user information form–this is where you will provide your CrowdStrike University account information.
- Sign in to your account.
- Select the desired exam.
- Select the option to take your exam at a Pearson VUE test center or take a proctored online exam with OnVUE.
- Pay for your exam by credit card or redeem your CrowdStrike exam voucher.

- Keyboard navigation: Navigate through courses using only a keyboard. Use the Tab key to move through interactive elements, and press Enter to select. To go backwards, use Shift + Tab. - Closed captioning: Videos include closed captions. To enable captions, use the included video player controls.
- Alt text: Important images are accompanied by descriptive alt text. If you are using a screen reader, this text will be read aloud to provide context.
- Adjustable text size: Adjust the text size within your browser for better readability. Refer to your browser’s settings for text size adjustments.
