CrowdStrike Positioned as a Magic Quadrant “Leader” and Furthest for “Completeness of Vision” in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for EPP

We are thrilled and honored to be positioned as a “Leader” in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP). This recognition from Gartner, which we believe is among the most influential analyst firms in the world, is the first time CrowdStrike® has been placed in the Leaders Quadrant, and only our third year of being included in this report.

What it Means to Be in the Leaders Quadrant

We feel that it is especially gratifying to be in the Leaders Quadrant, which Gartner bases on the criteria that an organization has demonstrated the ability to execute and completeness of vision. We believe CrowdStrike fulfills these criteria. Completeness of Vision

Not only are we in the Leaders Quadrant, CrowdStrike is positioned furthest for completeness of vision, which we believe validates the singular ability of our cloud-native model to deliver endpoint security at the pace and scale that modern, distributed businesses require. Gartner criteria for completeness of vision includes qualities such as innovation, marketing and product strategies, vertical industry and geographic strategies, as well as the validity of the business model as a whole. We believe we met all the criteria required to be recognized as a Leader and move further in completeness of vision.

How Do We Do It?

The CrowdStrike Falcon®® platform is the first and only scalable, single-agent endpoint security platform to provide unrivaled protection to the enterprise to stop breaches, while eliminating complexity to deliver a frictionless user experience to enterprises. Our strategy to unite a broad range of technologies and tools — including next-generation AV, endpoint detection and response (EDR), managed threat hunting, IT hygiene, threat intelligence and vulnerability assessment — and deliver them via the cloud using a single lightweight agent has proven to be the unique, innovative approach customers want and need. The wide adoption of the Falcon platform across geographies and industries validates our commitment to cloud architecture, which ensures rapid deployment, seamless management and a better experience for security teams and end-users alike. CrowdStrike uses the power of

crowdsourced data to deliver cloud-scale artificial intelligence (AI) for real-time visibility across the enterprise, even at the firmware level and regardless of whether users are on or off the network. We are also proud of the unique “brains” behind the Falcon platform — the CrowdStrike Threat Graph® — a massive graph database that uses deep-link analytics to correlate over two trillion endpoint-related events per week, in real time, from across the globe to immediately empower and protect all customers.

We Continue to Expand the Platform

We continue our focus on expanding the Falcon platform with innovative developments such as Falcon for MobileTM, the first solution to bring EDR to mobile devices. In addition, we announced the CrowdStrike Store in February of this year — it’s an enterprise marketplace where customers can discover, try, buy and deploy trusted applications that extend their investments in the Falcon platform. The CrowdStrike Store is the first open, cloud-based, single-agent platform-as-a-service (PaaS) for cybersecurity. It offers a unified “security cloud” ecosystem of trusted partners and applications for customers, and follows an open-API model, which is unique in the security space. As CEO and co-founder, I am extremely proud of

CrowdStrike’s placement in this year’s Gartner Magic Quadrant for EPP. My gratitude to our customers, partners and employees is beyond measure and I’m excited to continue executing on our vision to extend the Falcon platform and our global footprint, while remaining steadfast in our commitment to stopping breaches.
